The ship with the tour you booked will depart from Pier 14. The boarding and disembarking location is behind Amsterdam Central Station and in the middle of the SAIL area. Make sure you arrive on time for your time slot to ensure a smooth process.  Several ships will be departing from this pier, so make sure you have your ticket ready.

Reception & boarding process

Upon arrival at the location, we will scan your ticket and you will take your place in the queue. As soon as you can board, we will escort you to the ship and the skipper will welcome you on board. You will then take a cruise past the International Tall Ships, after which you will return to Pier 14.

Parking & accessibility

We encourage our guests to travel by bicycle or public transport wherever possible.

Public transport

Steiger 14 is easily accessible by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is approximately a 1-minute walk to the boarding location. 

Bicycle, e-bike, scooter and kiss & ride zone

Are you coming from nearby? Then we recommend using the various bicycle parking facilities in the neighbourhood or at Amsterdam Central Station. There is a kiss & ride zone in front of the station on Prins Hendrikkade.

Own car?

There is no parking available directly at the boarding location. We advise guests arriving by car to park at the RAI Amsterdam. You can easily reserve a parking ticket in advance via https://parkeren.rai.nl/nl/booking/period.html.

The cost is €25 including VAT per parking ticket.

From the RAI, take metro 52 (7 minutes) or metro 51 (15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station, from where you can walk to the boarding location. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is a 1-minute walk to the boarding location.

Navigation addresses

The tour boats will depart from Amsterdam Central Station IJzijde, Pier 14. This is next to the ferry that goes to the NDSM shipyard.
