Zouthaven

Information

Upon arrival at Zouthaven, we will scan your ticket and you will take your place in the queue. As soon as you can board, we will escort you to the boat and the skipper will welcome you on board. You will then take a boat trip past the International Tall Ships, ending back at Zouthaven.

Parking & accessibility

We encourage our guests to travel by bicycle, public transport or bus wherever possible.

Public transport

Zouthaven is easily accessible by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the boarding location. On the way to Zouthaven, you will already encounter various SAIL decorations.

Bus transport

If you are arriving by organised bus, there is a public bus stop for dropping off and picking up guests at the Scheepvaartmuseum near the ships (about a 15-minute walk). Please note that this will be a very busy area due to bus stops and roads. Bicycle, e-bike, scooter and kiss & ride zone

Are you coming from nearby? Then we recommend using the various bicycle parking facilities in the neighbourhood or at Amsterdam Central Station. There is no kiss & ride zone within walking distance.

Own car?

There is no parking available directly at Zouthaven. (The Piet Heingarage is closed.) We advise guests arriving by car to park at the RAI Amsterdam. You can easily reserve a parking ticket in advance via https://parkeren.rai.nl/nl/booking/period.html.

The cost is €25 including VAT per parking ticket.

From Europaplein station (near the RAI), take metro 52 (7 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station, from where you can walk to the boarding location. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is a 10-minute walk to Zouthaven.
