Sailing training ship

Zr. Ms. Urania is the sailing training ship for midshipmen of the Royal Marine Institute (KIM), part of the Dutch Defense Academy. This training ship is widely used for the technical training of upcoming naval officers.

Future naval officers learn the basic principles of seamanship on board Zr. Ms. Urania. A beautiful vessel where officers in training experience life and work at sea. Sometimes literally, because the training sailing ship brings them close to the elements at sea and back to the basic principles of driving a ship.
