The Houthavens are a modern and spacious location on the IJ River, on the west side of the center of Amsterdam.

During SAIL, the IJhaven is the beating heart of the event, where the impressive Tall Ships are moored amid a vibrant maritime atmosphere.

For the package SAIL-In on a tall ship, your day starts at RAI Amsterdam, where you will be welcomed and transported by bus to IJmuiden. In IJmuiden, the international Tall Ships are ready for the entry to Amsterdam.

The ship with your booked package will depart from Steiger 14. The boarding and disembarkation location is behind Amsterdam Central Station and in the middle of the SAIL area. Be sure to arrive in time for your time slot for smooth passage.

Arrangements aboard the sloops depart from Zouthaven. Zouthaven is in the middle of the SAIL area and around the corner from the International Tall Ships.
